Job summary

Klein Tools is seeking high-potential individuals for its Klein Leadership Program Operations Engineer role in Mansfield, TX. The 12-month accelerated program develops future leaders by exposing you to manufacturing functions, MES, tooling, and continuous improvement activities.

You will analyze root causes of manufacturing issues, monitor capacity, coordinate production schedules, and drive improvements while being mentored by leaders.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong planning, leadership, and communication skills are essential.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing engineering support, direction, and follow-up on machine availability, performance, and cost per unit.
• Analyze manufacturing difficulties to identify root causes and implement corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor capacity levels of critical machine assets and communicate actions to management.
• Support timely product delivery within cost and quality specs through production activities.
• Coordinate work groups, schedule work, assign machines to meet schedules and improve OEE.
• Review operating methods to develop and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Maintain visual scheduling to drive cross-functional problem solving.
• Review production reports and address productivity, scheduling, labor, material, and equipment issues.
• Coach and mentor manufacturing teams on current and new product introductions.
• Work safely and comply with OSHA and company safety rules.
