Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing’s Sr. Quality Engineer leads quality launch activities within the Advanced Quality/Launch group, ensuring APQP documentation and customer requirements are met during launch. The role collaborates with Program Managers and Launch teams to drive successful production starts and robust quality controls.

The candidate should have extensive APQP/PPAP experience, knowledge of GD&T, and the ability to coordinate supplier PPAP reviews while guiding early-stage quality strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years in related experience; 10–15 years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and AIAG standards.
• Experience leading quality launches and APQP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality launch activities and act as voice for customers and internal teams.
• Prepare APQP and PPAP documentation for new programs in launch.
• Ensure customer requirements are met across quality and engineering.
• Develop and review PFMEA, control plans, and gauging requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers on PPAP and supplier selection.
