Job summary

RTX's Naval Power – Radar Sensor Systems team in Plano, Texas is seeking a Senior Program Quality & Mission Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest quality and reliability of complex defense systems.

You will interface with program quality teams, customers and IPTs, lead root-cause analyses, implement corrective actions, support APQP/PPAP, and ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO9001. U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Working experience with Quality Management Systems, to include ISO 9001, AS9100 and/or AS9102.
• Working experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions.
• Working experience interpreting technical drawings.
• Active and transferable final U.S. government issued Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the program quality teams, programs, customers, and supporting IPTs to ensure quality and contractual compliance.
• Interface with external and internal customers and key partners to establish effective relationships.
• Responsible for quality of delivered products and services and managing quality risks and opportunities.
• Lead and perform root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement closed loop process controls to improve product/process predictability and capability.
• Generation of new Cost of Quality (CoQ) projects to reduce costs on the program.
• Support AS9100 Internal, Corporate, and Certification Audits.
