Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Quality Manager for the Polymer Center in the United States. You will lead the QA system, manage the Quality Control Laboratory and CAPA, oversee material quality, and drive improvements to ensure product conformance and customer satisfaction across sorting, grinding, and washing operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field and 4–7 years of related experience, with strong data analysis, root cause, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, materials science, chemistry, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of relevant manufacturing, quality, or process-engineering experience.
• Experience administering quality processes and leading root cause analysis, corrective actions and CAPA through closure.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of the Polymer Center QA system.
• Manage the Quality Control Laboratory, equipment, and testing matrix; train technicians.
• Set quality metrics, analyze trends, and drive cross-functional actions for conformance and customer satisfaction.
• Own customer quality matters, CAPA process, and communications with customers and stakeholders.
• Monitor incoming-material quality with suppliers and resolve nonconforming material.
• Support operations in optimizing sort/grind/wash process windows and recipes.
