Job summary

Position Overview

This will be a quality engineer role wearing several hats, as this is a smaller facility. This is an especially good opportunity for someone earlier in their career who is looking to gain a well‑rounded skillset and who wants to be a part of building something.

  • Day‑to‑day quality work in the lab and interfacing with folks in the plant (root‑cause analysis, corrective action planning and execution)
  • Participate in the rebuilding and improvement of the QMS (quality management system) for this facility
  • Participate and spearhead the developing of an SPC program
  • Optimization of tracking and reporting quality metrics and support of the Management of Change (MOC) process
Minimum Requirements
  • B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering required
  • 3+ years of post-college, chemical industry experience
  • Must have worked in a PSM-regulated manufacturing plant
  • Looking for someone who knows "what good looks like" in terms of quality systems, within chemical manufacturing
  • Huge plus for six‑sigma green belt and/or black‑belt
