Job summary

Republic Services’ Polymer Center in Indianapolis seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee sorting, grinding and washing, and to lead a team of operators on a shift. You’ll work with Maintenance and Quality teams to keep equipment safe, meet quality specs and production targets, and uphold safety standards across the operation.

You will drive safety, customer experience and efficiency while fostering employee engagement and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises sorting, grinding, and washing activities in the Polymer Center.
• Leads the Polymer Center team and coordinates shifts with the Operations Manager.
• Partners with Maintenance and Technical & Quality staff to ensure safety and quality.
• Ensures adherence to safety programs and regulatory standards.
• Delivers safety, customer experience and efficiency while engaging employees.
• Resolves issues and communicates with stakeholders to meet production plans.
