Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Sr. Quality Manager for our Houston manufacturing facility. The role ensures adherence to industry welding standards and internal guidelines while driving quality improvements on the shop floor.

You will lead the quality system, manage a team of Quality Engineers and QC Technicians, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to reduce defects and costs. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level discipline in quality, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• AWS CWI or commitment to obtain within first year.
• 8–10 years in quality management; Six Sigma Belt a plus.
• Expertise in structural steel welding standards AWS D1.1, D1.3, CSA W47/W59.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality improvement projects from initiation to sustainable gains.
• Ensure compliance with US Commercial QMS and IAS/AISC standards.
• Mentor QA Engineers and QC Technicians; oversee training.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions and audits.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers on quality improvements.
