Job summary

Global Earthwork + Underground is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee quality control for large-scale infrastructure projects. You will ensure work complies with project specs, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, with emphasis on field inspections and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy civil quality management and a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management, plus strong communication skills to train project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years of quality management for heavy civil construction projects.
• Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management Plan (QMP) for heavy civil construction projects.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and testing to monitor compliance and identify potential quality issues.
• Oversee materials testing, including concrete, asphalt, soil, and structural components.
• Lead quality control meetings and provide regular updates to leadership on quality performance and issues.
