Job summary

Global Earthwork + Underground is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee quality control and assurance for large-scale infrastructure projects. You will ensure construction activities meet project specs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in heavy civil construction, a strong background in quality management systems, and the ability to lead audits, testing, and NCR investigations across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management for heavy civil construction projects.
• Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management Plan (QMP) for heavy civil construction projects.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and testing to monitor compliance and identify quality issues.
• Oversee materials testing and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Identify non-conformance issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Lead quality control meetings and provide updates to leadership on quality performance.
