Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing seeks a senior quality leader to head the Quality team in a precision manufacturing setting in Pennsylvania.

You will own the AS9100 QMS, lead audits, drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement, and partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve processes and inspection methods. This role requires 7+ years of senior quality management experience and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of senior quality management experience in precision manufacturing or CNC machining.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, CMM, dimensional inspection, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO 9001, audits, corrective action, and root-cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience with FAI, SPC, inspection methods, and quality management systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work with Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or other highly regulated manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality team and oversee day-to-day quality activities across the manufacturing operation.
• Own and maintain the AS9100 Quality Management System, including audits, management reviews, and quality objectives.
• Drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and quality KPIs including scrap, rework, and customer issues.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to improve processes, inspection methods, and production controls.
• Oversee FAI, GD&T, CMM/dimensional inspection, SPC, MRB, and quality documentation.
• Support customer, supplier, and regulatory audits while ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
