Job summary

Jobot in Long Beach, CA, seeks a Quality Manager for aerospace hardware responsible for pressure vessels, COPV, and propulsion components. This role drives the full quality function and ensures conformance to AS9100 and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.

You will lead MRBs, establish inspection plans, and conduct SPC/QA analytics, with a focus on preventive action and continuous improvement. This is an onsite role in Long Beach.

Qualifications

• Lead quality for flight-critical aerospace hardware including pressure vessels, COPV, and propulsion systems.
• Active MRB member with disposition authority per internal and customer requirements.
• Establish inspection requirements and control plans for pressure-critical hardware.
• Lead FMEAs, trend analysis, and SPC to support QMS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality function across pressure vessels, COPV tanks, and propulsion hardware.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions using 5-why, fishbone, and 8D methodologies.
• Develop customer inspection plans and routings for critical hardware.
• Lead QA metrics, SPC analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives.
