Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer for aerospace manufacturing in Los Angeles. You will lead investigations, support MRB, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and robust quality controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field is required.
• 8–10 years of quality engineering experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience with corrective action systems, MRB activities, and regulatory/customer audits.
• Experience with aerospace quality systems, inspection planning, and manufacturing process controls.
• Knowledge of frozen planning, AS9102 First Article Inspection, and flight safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations of internal, supplier, and customer quality issues including nonconformances, escapes, complaints, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support MRB activities and disposition nonconforming material per engineering, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze quality data, trends, scrap, rework, and metrics to drive continuous improvement and reduce defects.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans, quality controls, process controls, and quality documentation for compliance.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to improve process capability and reduce variation.
