Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Quality Leader for Residential HVAC to drive world-class quality systems and continuous improvement. You will partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering and Product Management to reduce the cost of quality while ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes leadership, KPI reporting, and regulatory compliance, with a travel requirement of 25-30%. A bachelor’s degree is required and 15+ years in quality management is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in quality management, program and project management in design, engineering or manufacturing.
• Professional certification (CPM, APICS, Six Sigma, CQM, PE, etc.) is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and knowledge in APQP, PPAP, A3 thinking, FMEA and Control Plan, SPC, COPQ.

Responsibilities

• Create a talented organization through transformational change and cross‑functional alignment to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Lead quality compliance policy and regulatory strategies across locations and suppliers.
• Drive a proactive quality team and a Zero Quality Defect mindset.
• Present KPI status and quality metrics to leadership and collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering and Product Management.
