As a Quality Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance in our passenger railcar manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about quality assurance and continuous improvement in a dynamic, team-driven environment.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Lead non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical, functional, and first article inspections to verify product quality, safety, and conformance.
• Work independently with specialized equipment, unique setups, and multiple data sources to support accurate quality decisions.
• Prepare and approve inspection reports, records, charts, and basic statistical analyses to track conformance status and material processing.
• Lead root cause evaluations and apply quality tools to resolve issues, improve processes, and prevent recurrence.
• Train and guide less experienced inspectors to strengthen consistency, accuracy, and inspection performance across the team.
• Coordinate department consumables and small tools, support equipment maintenance requests, and ensure assigned areas meet 6S standards.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams while maintaining a safety-first approach in daily operations.

The pay range for this position is $27.84/hr - $32.75/hr per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
