RBC Bearings Incorporated is seeking an Inspector III to inspect materials, processes, and products, mentoring others and developing inspection plans. The role emphasizes GD&T, CMMs, optical comparators, and strict conformance to quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing, 6+ years of experience, and proficiency with Excel/Word/Outlook. A sign-on bonus is offered and training responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ years in a manufacturing environment with mechanical inspection background.
• Advanced measurement skills using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges and optical comparators.
• Minimum 3 years' experience operating CMMs.
• Advanced GD&T understanding.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on complex machined parts and assemblies.
• Perform receiving inspection on incoming product.
• Proficient in dimensional inspection using inspection tools including optical comparators and CMMs.
• Interpret drawings, certifications, and military/industry specifications; apply GD&T.
• Create and complete first articles to AS9102.
• Train and mentor less experienced inspectors.
• Perform Supplier Source Inspection as assigned.
