Job summary

The Sargent Aerospace & Defense division of RBC Bearings Incorporated seeks a Manufacturing Quality Inspector II in the United States. The role inspects materials, processes and products, performs incoming and in-process checks, and supports AS9102 first article requirements to uphold quality standards.

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma or GED, 4+ years in manufacturing inspection, GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with measuring tools and MS Office. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background in ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environments preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing inspection experience with mechanical inspection focus.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with common measurement tools.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections for machine shop and production products.
• Conduct receiving inspection on incoming items.
• Interpret drawings, certifications, and military/industry specifications.
• Create and complete first articles to AS9102.
• Mentor less experienced inspectors and collaborate with team.
• Maintain safety as a core value in daily work.
