Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to verify assembly, soldering and documentation in a fast-paced aerospace environment. You will read engineering prints, generate conformity documents, and ensure strict adherence to specifications and customer requirements.

The role requires the ability to interpret technical data and work with cross-functional teams. Training may occur on multiple shifts, with safety and regulatory compliance emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years without a diploma.
• Familiarity with principles of Quality Inspection.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rework and assembly and solder components per IPC-A-610 and J-STD.
• Read and interpret customer flow-down and engineering documents.
• Generate ARC or Certificates of Conformance for regulatory/military customers.
• Ensure no defects in assembly, soldering, bonding, or finish.
• Maintain accurate records and review work orders for conformance.
