Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Quality Inspector I to inspect assembled components and ensure conformance to design specifications. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections, review customer data, and document results to maintain product reliability.

The role requires HS diploma or equivalent and experience with precision measurement tools; familiarity with SAP/PLM systems is a plus. Onsite work with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) or technical education in related discipline.
• Experience reviewing engineering prints and drawings.
• Experience using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers).
• High attention to detail in inspections.

Responsibilities

• Inspect sub-component and final components for conformance to requirements.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections using measurement tools.
• Review customer data to ensure compliance with print intent.
• Follow procedures for verification of dimensions and work instructions.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Identify and quarantine non-conforming products as needed.
• Maintain calibrated measurement instruments and proper handling.
