Collins Aerospace is hiring a Senior Quality Technician to support FAI activities for engine nozzle components. You will work directly with customers to obtain FAI approvals, address returns, and ensure timely, accurate documentation.

This role supports quality engineering, drives inspection excellence, and maintains strong customer relationships. The position requires interpreting drawings per ASME Y14.5, experience with FAI/PPAP, and knowledge of ISO/AS standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) or PPAP inspections.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience in a manufacturing quality environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete, review, and track FAI with turnback resolution.
• Support internal FAI completion and documentation.
• Deliver and support FAI/inspection training.
• Assist quality engineering with customer approvals and FAI requirements.
• Maintain QMS documentation related to FAI and training.
• Support inspection training across teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements for FAI and inspection.
• Build collaborative relationships with key functional groups.
• Support day-to-day quality deliverables: root cause investigation, calibration, tooling inspection, non-conformance control.
