Job summary

Ursa Major in Colorado is seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality aerospace components. You will support manufacturing and design teams, perform electrical, dimensional, and visual inspections, and help maintain calibration programs.

The role requires 5+ years in quality control in precision machining, ability to read drawings, GD&T proficiency, and experience with CMMs and automated inspection equipment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; AS9100/ISO9001 or similar experience preferred.
5+ years in quality control/inspection in precision machining.
Ability to read drawings and standards; GD&T proficiency.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical, dimensional, and visual inspections for procured or manufactured parts.
Operate inspection equipment (CMM, height stands, comparators).
Review supplier documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Document inspection results clearly and completely; issue Discrepancy Reports as needed.
Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment; mentor junior inspectors.
