Job summary

Ursa Major is hiring a Senior Quality Control Inspector to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality aerospace products. You will support design and manufacturing teams, perform complex inspections, and contribute to weekend inspection operations on a three 12‑hour shift schedule (Fri–Sun).

The role reports to the Quality Control Manager and requires GD&T, drawing literacy, and experience with metrology equipment. Colorado compensation is disclosed and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality control/inspection in aerospace or precision machining.
• Ability to read drawings and GD&T standards.
• Experience with metrology tools and various inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, dimensional, and visual inspections of parts and subassemblies.
• Operate manual and automated inspection equipment.
• Review supplier documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Record inspection results and documentation clearly.
• Author Discrepancy Reports when needed.
• Support MRB inventory and clearance activities.
• Assist calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
• Mentor junior inspectors and support quality management.
