Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico is seeking a Quality Inspector to rigorously inspect parts, assemblies, and materials across manufacturing stages. You will verify conformance to drawings and specs, maintain inspection records, and support process improvements. Onsite in PR with no relocation offered.

The role requires reading blueprints, using gauges, and communicating in English. A HS diploma with 2 years of relevant experience and US citizenship are expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, standards, technical data, and work instructions.
• Use inspection tools to verify specifications.
• Perform daily inspections of materials and sub‑assemblies and reject non‑conforming product.
• Prepare and maintain Quality Notifications and non‑conformity documentation.
• Make decisions based on established criteria, including stopping processes when required.
