Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Quality Inspector for its Santa Isabel, PR site. You will perform detailed inspections of parts, assemblies, and materials to ensure compliance with design data and contract requirements, using a range of inspection tools. You will read drawings, interpret standards, and work with supervisors and engineering to report issues and support process improvements.

U.S. citizenship required; relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• English communication skills (verbal and written) required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for program access.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, standards, technical data and work instructions.
• Use inspection tools to verify specifications.
• Perform daily inspections of materials and sub-assemblies and reject non-conforming product.
• Identify discrepancies between plans and work instructions.
• Prepare and maintain Quality Notifications, Rework Records, and non-conformity documentation.
• Make decisions based on established criteria, including stopping processes when required.
• Conduct random audits of assembly processes, procedures, and products.
• Support final inspection activities and report issues to supervision and engineering.
