Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Santa Isabel, PR is seeking a hands-on Quality Inspector to read drawings, verify specifications with inspection tools, and reject non-conforming material. The role requires strong documentation skills and collaboration with engineering to improve processes.

Experience with SAP is preferred. This onsite position requires US citizenship and a HS diploma or equivalent. Relocation is not offered; residency in Puerto Rico is expected at start.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with related technical education and 2+ years of experience.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access the program information.
• No disciplinary actions in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, standards, and data.
• Inspect materials and sub-assemblies with gauges and calipers.
• Perform daily inspections and reject non-conforming product.
• Prepare and maintain Quality Notifications and non-conformity records.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineering to drive improvements.
