Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Santa Isabel, PR, is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure parts and materials meet design data, drawings, and contract requirements. This onsite role involves inspecting components throughout manufacturing and maintaining documentation.

You will read drawings, use gauges/calipers to verify specs, and reject non-conforming items. A HS diploma with 2+ years’ experience and solid English communication are required. U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) with 2+ years of relevant inspection experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and technical data.
• Fluent/verbal and written English communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, standards, and data.
• Use micrometers, gauges, calipers to verify specifications.
• Perform daily inspections of materials and sub-assemblies; reject non-conforming product.
• Prepare and maintain quality notifications and non-conformity documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineering to report issues and drive improvements.
