Job summary

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA, is seeking a Quality Inspector or Senior Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift. The role is full-time and on-site, with hours 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, including a 30-minute meal break.

The inspector will examine cables, CCAs, and mechanical components from blueprints and change notices. Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of direct quality inspection experience for the Inspector role.
• 3–5 years of direct quality inspection experience for Senior Inspector.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections with precision devices on parts, materials, and assemblies.
• Interpret industry workmanship standards and EPS procedures in inspection.
• Identify non-conformances clearly and document findings.
• Inspect cables, CCAs, and mechanical components against drawings and quality standards.
• Review and validate First Article Inspection paperwork from suppliers.
• Support continuous improvement of the receiving inspection group.
