Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6+ years in manufacturing/inspection of electronic components/assemblies.
• Ability to read engineering docs and inspect per drawings/parts lists.
• Willingness to support 2nd shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Experience with NASA 8739 or IPC/J-STD-001 inspections or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections on electrical and mechanical components at part, assembly, and sub-assembly levels.
• Uphold quality standards and workmanship; follow process specs and QA practices.
• Review product build documentation and perform configuration audits.
• Generate nonconformance reports and participate in MRB/PMRB discussions as needed.
• Conduct audits of areas for ISO/AS9100 compliance and lean manufacturing.
• Train and mentor new hires in QA skills; develop training material.
