Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Burbank, CA is seeking a Quality Specialist on the second shift to identify workmanship issues and ensure assemblies meet predetermined specifications. You will inspect using blueprints, customer drawings and military standards, and proactively communicate errors and trends to the quality organization.

The role requires GD&T proficiency, mechanical inspection capabilities, and experience with AS9100/AS9102 environments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years as a Quality Inspector in manufacturing.
• AS9102 First Article Inspections experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings/blueprints with GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, drawings and military standards to determine acceptance or rework.
• Perform visual inspections with high accuracy to verify properties.
• Enter data into software tools and communicate errors or trends to quality.
