Job summary

SpaceX in Woodinville, WA is seeking a Quality Inspector (Starlink Aviation) on 2nd shift to perform in-process and final inspections of electrical and mechanical assemblies, using detailed drawings and CAD models to verify conformance to design requirements. You will travel to repair locations, document nonconformances, and drive corrective actions while collaborating with design, quality, and supply chain teams.

Experience with AS9100/ISO 9001 is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 4+ years of inspection experience preferred.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in a technical/engineering field preferred.
• Experience with MRB and root cause/corrective action systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-process and final inspections on electrical and mechanical assemblies per drawings and CAD models.
• Travel to install/repair locations for detailed inspection.
• Document nonconformances and pursue corrective action as required.
• Communicate quality issues with Starlink Aviation and Repair Station teams.
• Support QMS policies, assess compliance, and lead lean initiatives.
