Job summary

Mission Foods is seeking an experienced QA Manager at our Panorama City facility to drive total quality across production and packaging. You will lead the QA team, partner with operations and staff, and ensure regulatory compliance while sustaining continuous improvement in product quality and food safety programs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in food science/tech, 5 years QA in manufacturing, and at least 3 years in a managerial capacity; bakery/food manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science/technology or related field is required.
• 5 years of QA experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Minimum 3 years in a managerial capacity in a manufacturing/quality environment.
• Bakery or food/beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
• With any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Protect the brand by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Engage everyone to uphold the highest quality standards daily.
• Monitor and drive continuous improvement in product quality and quality systems.
• Oversee continuous improvement of the Food Safety Program.
• Mentor and develop the Total Quality team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
