Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead site QA/QC functions, integrate quality priorities into operations, and drive regulatory compliance across FDA, GFSI, and customer requirements.

You will manage CAPA, change control, and root cause analyses, while building a culture of quality and continuous improvement within cross-functional teams. The role requires 5+ years in quality leadership within food or related industries and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in food, supplement, or related industry.
• Certification focused on Quality and Food Safety for Supply Chain requirement: PCQI or HACCP.
• Project Management & Change Management Experience
• Familiarity with FDA

Responsibilities

• Maintains customer quality satisfaction through programs to control raw materials, in-process materials, production processes, environmental conditions and finished products.
• Empowers and develops team and cross functional teams; conducts evaluations and training plans.
• Ensures compliance with FDA, EPA, OSHA and other agencies; ensures third party certifications such as GFSI, Kosher, Halal, RSPO as needed.
• Conducts or coordinates customer, vendor and third party audits and regulatory inspections; oversees audits.
• Leads quality team in onboarding and trial reviews, specification creation, formula and label reviews, inspection plans for materials.
• Manages staffing, budget, expenses, and capital projects.
• Partners with site leaders for goal setting and training needs.
• Supports Supply Chain, Learning and Development, and Commercialization as needed.
• Develops a quality culture and strong cross functional relationships.
• Communicates effectively with internal and external customers; escalates and informs on safety, quality, and financial issues.
• Works with R&D, Production, and Commercial teams for new product launches and process improvements.
• Interfaces with operational excellence programs to maximize effectiveness.
• Provides support for customer visits and external audits
