Job summary

Amazon Lab126 is seeking a Senior Manager, Quality Engineering Manager to lead a team of QE Managers and ensure products meet customer expectations. You will set quality goals, guide risk assessment early in development, and drive remediation through the launch and ramp phases.

You will collaborate with engineering, reliability, operations, and product management to prevent issues, analyze failures, and implement corrective actions with a sense of urgency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering experience.
• 10+ years of engineering team management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in system-level integration.
• Experience with DFx (cost, test, manufacturing).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Quality Engineering Managers to ensure products meet customer expectations.
• Identify and mitigate quality risks early in development, and manage quality through launch and ramp-up.
• Establish quality goals, investigate failures, and implement corrective actions.
• Demonstrates urgency in resolving critical issues.
• Drives continuous improvement, navigates ambiguity, and influences cross-functional teams in engineering, reliability, operations, and product management.
• Develops their quality engineering team to achieve high performance.
