Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior Manager, Quality Engineering to lead the Quality Engineering organization across manufacturing operations, ensuring robust quality systems and continuous improvement. You will partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product Development to meet quality, reliability, and compliance requirements.

You will develop high-performing teams, manage quality performance metrics, and translate objectives into actionable programs that drive customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience managing quality engineering teams.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, IQC, and OQC functions.
• Develop and execute departmental quality plans aligned with organizational objectives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Coach, mentor, and develop quality engineering personnel and future leaders.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, reliability, and performance requirements.
• Establish process controls, inspection plans, validation activities, and quality standards.
• Lead investigations of quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Drive CAPA implementation and regulatory/compliance adherence.
• Oversee supplier qualification, audits, and performance monitoring.
• Partner with Supply Chain to mitigate supplier quality risks.
• Drive supplier corrective action programs and improvement initiatives.
• Monitor supplier quality metrics and implement performance improvements.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC methodologies to reduce COPQ.
• Establish quality dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects on process capability and efficiency.
• Manage customer complaints, returns, and field quality concerns.
• Support customer audits and quality reviews.
