Job summary

AV seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure product quality from development through production and sustainment. You will lead QA/QC plans, implement robust quality controls, and coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to meet customer requirements.

You will perform risk assessments, lead MRB decisions, and drive CAPA using advanced problem-solving tools, ensuring on-time delivery and continuous improvement across programs.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of related quality engineering experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and AS9102 standards and audits.
• Familiarity with IPC_A_610, IPC/WHMA_A_620.
• Ability to communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve gaps.
• Proficient in Six Sigma methods to identify root causes and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Planning and Engineering across the product lifecycle.
• Develop QA/QC plans and define inspection procedures.
• Review contracts to ensure quality requirements are clear.
• Collaborate with engineering on DFMs and DFAs for quality.
• Conduct risk assessments and use FMEA for mitigation.
• Lead MRB processes and drive corrective actions and CAPA.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvements.
