Job summary

PNC is seeking a Senior Quality Engineering (QE) Manager to define and lead the quality strategy across the SDLC. You will partner with product managers and engineers to ensure reliable, scalable software releases and promote best practices in manual and automated testing.

The role requires hands-on automation, the ability to lead teams, and engagement across sprint and release cycles to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with business goals. Based in multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA principles.
• Ability to embed quality early in the SDLC with cross-functional teams.
• Experience defining and executing comprehensive test strategies.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum SDLC and release cycles.
• SQL experience for test validation and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce testing best practices across manual and automated testing.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, architects and stakeholders to embed quality early.
• Define and align test strategy with business and technical requirements.
• Contribute to sprint and release activities and ensure test coverage.
• Maintain test artifacts and raise quality risks when needed.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools and metrics.
• Support teams with automation strategies and leadership for QE members.
