Job summary

PNC is seeking a Quality Engineer Specialist Sr to join the Technology - Digital Retail team. Based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX, or Birmingham, AL, you will design and own test strategy for complex customer‑facing web applications, integrating UI, APIs, fraud checks, and downstream systems.

You will lead SIT and Regression planning, create and execute test cases in Jira/Xray, review automation coverage to improve reliability, and mentor other QEs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA/testing experience in enterprise web applications.
• Experience designing test strategy and test plans.
• Proficient with test automation and API testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design and own test strategy for complex business flows spanning UI, APIs, fraud checks, and downstream systems.
• Lead SIT and Regression planning, including sequencing, dependencies, environments, and test data readiness.
• Create and execute test cases in Jira/Xray and ensure execution evidence meets enterprise standards.
• Review automation coverage and collaborate to improve reliability, reduce flakiness, and support CI/CD.
• Communicate clear testing status, risks, and release readiness to stakeholders and leadership.
