Job summary

Walmart in Irvington, NJ is seeking a Manager II, Quality Engineer – Supply Chain to oversee quality initiatives within the Distribution Center. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3 years in quality or process improvement, or 5 years in engineering with Lean Six Sigma.
• Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long-term savings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support company policies, initiatives, procedures, mission values, and ethics and integrity.
• Lead process improvement tools and methods (5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, time and motion studies) to eliminate quality losses in a Distribution Center.
• Compile deviations to playbooks and provide input to improvement teams on replication opportunities.
• Assist with deployment of the Quality Excellence WPS program methodology.
• Manage project execution of top quality losses and build capability of other area managers and associates.
• Develop area quality loss profile analysis and performance metrics.
• Lead quality‑related savings projects by removing loss from processes.
• Coordinate relationships with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs and measure progress toward results.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates and promote belonging.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethics in business processes.
