Job summary

JLG Industries, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to lead Lean Six Sigma-driven improvements across manufacturing and quality systems. You will champion process capability, control plans, and robust failure prevention with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor inspectors, support ISO/IATF compliance, and drive data-driven actions to reduce defects and variation while enhancing product quality and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and quality tooling.
• Experience with GD&T, SPC, PFMEA and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement of quality control testing and manufacturing processes.
• Resolve complex quality issues using structured problem solving with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor Quality Inspectors and Analysts in Lean and process improvement.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, GPSC, Contracts, Sales and Manufacturing to resolve issues.
• Act as subject matter expert across product platforms and support new product introductions.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions and data-driven decision making.
