Job summary

AGCO in Beloit, KS is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to lead plant Quality Engineering, risk-based control plans, and rigorous launch governance.

You will drive PFMEA, control-plan design, PPAP evidence, and advanced SPC to improve customer and supplier quality, while coaching other engineers and influencing leadership decisions. You will partner with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supplier Quality to ensure robust quality systems and successful launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, quality engineering, or related technical field with cross-functional launches.
• APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, special characteristics, MSA, Gauge R&R, SPC, and capability analysis employed.
• Experience developing inspection, measurement, and functional-test strategies with acceptance criteria and validation.
• Ability to influence cross-functional decisions, coach engineers, and communicate risk to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP, NPI and Launch Quality governance across programs; set quality strategy and evidence for readiness.
• Manage production control plans and functional verification for complex assemblies and processes.
• Own measurement systems, SPC and process control; drive data-driven improvements and audits.
• Provide technical leadership in plant quality operations, audits, containment, and continuous improvement.
• Coach Quality Engineers; lead cross-functional problem solving and escalation of risk with evidence.
