Job summary

AGCO Corporation in Beloit, KS, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead the manufacturing quality strategy, control-system design, and launch governance. This onsite role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supplier Quality.

You will drive APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and special-characteristics programs, develop control plans, and coach teams to improve product and process quality, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, electrical engineering, or related technical field.
• 7+ years in manufacturing quality or related technical field with cross-functional launches.
• Proven experience with APQP, PFMEA, control plans, PPAP, MSA, gauge R&R, SPC and problem solving.
• Experience validating inspection, measurement, and test strategies with evidence.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and coach engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP, NPI, PPAP, and launch quality activities for readiness and risk mitigation.
• Develop and govern quality control strategies, control plans, testing, and safe-launch processes.
• Act as technical expert for measurement systems, SPC, and process capability.
• Drive improvements through root-cause analysis, supplier quality, and audits.
• Provide leadership and coaching across cross-functional teams with data-driven decisions.
