Job summary

Storable is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer for its Marine division to drive quality across our software platform. You will design test strategies, build automation, validate APIs & data, and guide the team with a risk-based approach.

You will work hands-on with QA, engineering, product, and design to ensure reliable, customer-focused software. This role includes mentoring and advancing testability within an Agile environment, with on-site presence in Seattle three days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience.
• Strong test strategy and risk-based validation skills.
• Experience building automated tests with modern frameworks.
• Experience API validation, data workflows, and integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute test strategies across manual and automated testing.
• Validate APIs, data, and business workflows with a focus on quality.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Cypress/Selenium/TestNG.
• Collaborate with product and engineers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and drive testability improvements.
