Storable seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to strengthen our Marine software platform. The role blends hands-on quality engineering, test automation, API and data validation, and thoughtful use of AI-assisted tools to improve speed, coverage, and engineering outcomes.

You'll collaborate with product, design, support, engineering, and business to translate customer needs into validated product behavior while mentoring junior QA engineers and raising the overall quality bar across the team in a

Competenze

• 5+ years hands-on QA or QE experience.
• Strong test strategy, exploratory, regression, and release readiness skills.
• Experience building automated tests with modern frameworks.
• Experience validating APIs, integrations, data, and business workflows.
• Ability to use SQL for data investigation and validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source control workflows.
• Practical use of AI-assisted tools in QA workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and risk-based validation skills.
• Strong communication to explain risk, tradeoffs, and release recommendations.
• Collaborative with mentoring and improving team quality.

Mansioni

• Own and influence test strategy across manual, automated, API, database, exploratory, regression, and release readiness.
• Design and maintain automated tests using Cypress, Selenium, TestNG, or Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Build and maintain API automation validating service behavior and data contracts.
• Query and validate data with SQL to troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and support to translate requirements into validated outcomes.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and raise overall quality bar.
• Improve tooling, observability, and automation coverage across the team.
• Advocate for quality early in the SDLC and in agile ceremonies.
• Triage and diagnose bugs, failures, and environment issues quickly.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to improve planning, debugging, and documentation.
