Storable Marine seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our Marine software platform. You will lead test strategy, automate tests, validate APIs and data, and apply AI-assisted techniques to raise velocity and coverage.

You will work with agile teams to shape testable stories, mentor junior engineers, and improve observability and automation across the product. On-site presence in Seattle three days per week is required.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on QA or Quality Engineering experience.
• Experience building or maintaining automated tests with modern frameworks.
• Experience validating APIs, data, and business-critical workflows.
• Able to use SQL to investigate data issues and validate behavior.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and deployment validation.
• Practical use of AI-assisted tools in QA workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and risk-based validation skills.
• Strong communication to explain risks and testing plans.
• Collaborative mindset and mentoring ability.
• On-site presence at Seattle, WA office three days/week.

Responsabilidades

• Own test strategy across manual, automated, API, database, exploratory testing, regression, and release readiness.
• Design and maintain automated tests using Cypress, Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
• Build API automation validating service behavior and data contracts.
• Use SQL to query, validate, and troubleshoot data.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to translate needs into validated outcomes.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and raise quality bar across teams.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve test planning, debugging, and documentation.
• Coordinate with CI/CD pipelines to validate builds and releases.
