Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure top product and process quality. You will lead quality initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and partner across departments to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years in quality engineering within manufacturing, expertise in ISO 9001/IATF 16949, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Hybrid collaboration and cross-functional impact are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field. Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) per ISO 9001.
• Lead RCA and CAPA processes for quality issues.
• Conduct internal and external audits for quality compliance.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain to integrate quality requirements.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and propose solutions.
• Develop and deliver quality training for employees.
• Support NPI quality considerations from early stages.
• Assist in customer complaint investigations and resolutions.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen.
