RTX seeks a Sr Engineer, Quality Engineer at Forest, MS to provide engineering support and ensure compliance with DoD and internal quality requirements. The role involves leading quality functions, executing root-cause analysis, and driving improvements in manufacturing areas.

Candidates should have a STEM degree, 5 years of engineering experience, and an active DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one).

Formación

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and 5 years of prior engineering experience.
• Experience with DCMA, USN, and USG.
• Experience with AS 9100/ISO9001 quality management systems or equivalent
• Previous work experience engaging with cross-functional stakeholders in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions
• Experience with Six Sigma methodology (CORE) and tools such as lean manufacturing, diagnostic, process optimization and continuous improvement
• Experience with microelectronic fab, manufacturing and assembly
• Experience with metrology, measurement tools and practices
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsabilidades

• Lead Quality functions with the Advanced Radar Systems within Forest Ms
• Lead and/or participate in Root Cause analysis and CORE initiatives
• Manage Quality specific metrics
• Be a Leader among your peers as for Quality knowledge and processes
• Actively pursue methods and process to improve overall Quality of our product
• At times will lead both the Box and Pod manufacturing areas
