Job summary

RTX’s Andover, MA facility seeks a results-driven quality and process improvement engineer to lead data-driven manufacturing excellence initiatives. You will analyze production trends, guide cross-functional teams, and drive defect prevention and corrective actions while interfacing with DCMA/MDA and Raytheon customers.

Responsibilities include reviewing technical data, maintaining audit readiness, and supporting change control boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, OR a Master's Degree and minimum 3 years of relevant experience OR in absence of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, etc.) for the purpose of reporting and presentation development

Responsibilities

• Define change classification and customer communication plan
• Assess production trends using data analysis and statistical process control methods
• Engage and lead cross functional teams to address rework and scrap, drive continuous improvement, root cause and corrective action
• Participate in change control board and qualification review
• Review technical data and disposition suspect nonconforming material
• Lead continuous improvement activities through Defect Prevention Teams.
• Support audit procedural compliance
• Interface with DCMA & MDA and internal Raytheon Customers.
• Communicate best practices, audit results, and quality trends
• Interface with operators in the fab to investigate process issues
