Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Quality Engineer specializing in battery-powered tools to join the Advanced Manufacturing team.

You will support quality strategies for future assembly and systems, focusing on control plans, SPC, PFMEAs and risk mitigation under guidance from senior leadership. You will collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and cross-functional teams to implement quality standards in production and ensure reliable system performance

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Quality, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
3+ years of related experience in quality engineering
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international)

Responsibilities

Support development of system-level control plans and risk mitigation for Advanced Manufacturing Systems.
Execute DOEs to support full-system SPC strategies.
Align control plan elements to enable data connectivity and process control.
Perform defect root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Develop PFMEAs for assigned manufacturing systems and implement preventive controls.
Plan and execute MSAs, including Gage R&R studies for measurement systems.
Identify opportunities for process optimization to reduce defects.
Provide training for project quality teams during system implementation.
Support implementation of new systems and post-launch production readiness.
Review process control plans and monitoring data for continuous improvement.
