Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Quality Engineer focused on battery-powered tools.

You will join the Advanced Manufacturing team and help drive quality strategies for future assembly and manufacturing systems, including system-level control plans and risk mitigation under senior leadership. Responsibilities include DOE execution for SPC, PFMEA development, MSAs, root cause analysis, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• BS in quality/engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience in advanced manufacturing quality environments preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with DOE, SP C, PFMEA, MSA and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop system-level control plans and risk mitigation for Advanced Manufacturing Systems.
• Execute DOEs to support full-system SPC strategies.
• Support alignment of control plan elements and processes for assigned programs.
• Perform defect root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop PFMEAs for manufacturing systems and support prevention and detection controls.
• Plan and execute MSAs including Gage R&R studies.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and reduce defects.
• Provide training to project quality teams during system implementations.
• Support new system launches and continuous improvement efforts.
