Job summary

Slab Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to uphold and improve our QA program in accordance with ASME B&PVC Sections III and VIII, as well as related standards.

The role bridges design, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance to ensure safety, quality, and traceability of critical-to-function equipment. The candidate will develop and approve quality documentation, manage nonconformances, and participate in external audits such as ASME and ISO.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized with high attention to detail.
• Ability to translate customer quality requirements into documentation and plans.
• Experience with quality control, QA programs, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve documentation for ASME Code compliance and customer requirements.
• Generate and review certification packages and material test reports.
• Disposition nonconformances and drive corrective actions.
• Lead or support internal and external quality audits (ASME, ISO, NUPIC).
• Create and review work instructions ensuring Quality Program adherence.
• Support training and knowledge transfer within the QA team.
