Job summary

Flowserve Corporation in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Nuclear Quality Engineer to lead the Nuclear Quality Management System and audit programs, ensuring conformance with ASME BPVC, 10 CFR and ISO standards. The role collaborates with Supply Chain, Engineering, Project Management and Manufacturing to manage orders and deliver high-quality flow control solutions.

The ideal candidate will drive root-cause/problem-solving sessions (RCA/CA/PA), mentor teams, and advance continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (manufacturing, nuclear, industrial, or mechanical).
• 5 years’ experience leading or working in a nuclear quality program meeting ASME BPVC, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and ASME NQA-1, plus ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 19443.
• Knowledge of ASME BPVC, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and ASME NQA-1.
• NQA-1 Lead Auditor with team-solving capability (RCA/CA/PA).
• Experience in metal-mechanic industries or similar business.

Responsibilities

• Lead Nuclear Quality Management System at the site.
• Lead Nuclear audit program (external, supplier, internal).
• Partner with all functional areas to assure Nuclear Quality compliance.
• Facilitate problem solving (RCA/CA/PA) related to Nuclear business.
• Engage in Nuclear Project specification reviews and ITP development.
• Nuclear Project Quality Document oversight.
